Whether supporting charities financially, giving up some of our spare time or reducing our environmental impact, the meet DWIGHT team firmly believes there is more to life than just business!
As part of our wider corporate social responsibility, meet DWIGHT financially supports local, community-based charities such as Big Love and Manna Meals. Some of our team members also volunteer their time, providing an extra pair of hands where needed.
As a tech company, meet DWIGHT wishes to ensure we have an impact beyond the services we provide to our customers. Our day-to-day carbon footprint is already fairly small, and we’re focused on keeping it that way as we grow.
meet DWIGHT is a member of the SME Climate Hub, alongside thousands of other businesses working towards net zero by 2050. Each year, we measure our emissions and work with Lean2Green and Anglia Ruskin University to understand where we can reduce them.
We’re constantly developing our decarbonisation plan as we build a culture of continuous improvement rather than one-off actions. meet DWIGHT also reviews the environmental credentials of our current and future suppliers, so we can make better choices across our supply chain.
Outside the business, the team support local tree-planting projects and have already sponsored the planting of over 70 trees. This policy reflects our ongoing commitment to doing the right thing, steadily progressing towards making a difference to our planet.
Big Love works across the UK, Romania and Moldova to support families and children facing severe hardship. From deploying food banks to launching initiatives to protect children vulnerable to trafficking, they create lasting change that sends ripples throughout the communities they engage with.
The Big Love Charity is all about doing your part, large or small, in creating positive change. Every pound donated, every hour volunteered, and every story shared brings us closer to a world where compassion, dignity, and hope can thrive.
Manna Meals is a Christian charity dedicated to providing a communal space and helping those who are unable to afford (healthy) food. Manna Meals also offers a Community Pantry, free meals, coffee mornings and frozen meal delivery throughout the Brentwood area in Essex. They support local churches and organisations in their community work, as well as providing face-to-face events for all to attend.
